My desk is messy. My desk has always been messy.
At this point, it would appear to be unlikely to change. Works for me, but I get twinges when I think of the poor observer of what appears to be chaos. Not enough twinges to tidy up, but perhaps there are other solutions.
I found some interesting curtains made by Ambesonne. They have hundreds of photo type curtains for shower or window. They are made of a heavy weight polyester that feels like heavy satin. The colors for this room are warm beige, yellow, brown. I think I found the perfect curtains.
When I want to be at the desk, I just open the curtains, and here I am.
Actually, I do open the curtains wider while working. . .
And the person walking past the computer room does not get a view of the mess.
The next is to put curtains on the windows.
Probably sheers, because I love the south facing light.
