Happy Spring!
The unseasonably warm weather has brought out the daffodils sooner than usual.
And the bugs!
If you look closely, you can see a brown spider.
Some of the trees arrived today. D planted elderberries, cherries, and raspberries.
This is the row of 12 raspberries - two different kinds.
He is pretty proud of his composted horse manure, which is piled up by the owner of the horse farm across the street.Lettuce and spinach have started sprouting.
We harvested horseradish last month and ground it.
It was fun, but boy did I cry!
We replanted some of the tops - probably didn't need to, though, since some are very happy pushing up through the spinach seeds!
We were tickled to see that some pansies overwintered.
They are little ones.
